Go Eco Cabs are excited to announce that in July 2020 we became corporate partners with locally based environmental charity The Word Forest Organisation. For every journey over £5, Go Eco Cabs donates 50p to The Word Forest. So far we have raised £460.50, which equates to 184 trees to be planted. In a number of years these trees will capture 46 tonnes of CO2 and other pollutants from the atmosphere.
The Word Forest Organisation plants trees, builds schools, facilitates education and supports women's empowerment in Kenya. These tropical forests grow up to 10 times faster than anywhere else in the planet and they mitigate climate chaos, reduce global temperatures and slow sea level rise.
